1,000 miles....Why are we doing this????!!!

Its time for something closer to home - a 1,000 mile charity cycle around all 42 Scottish League Football Clubs with Phil to raise money for a 2G pitch for Balerno High School.

At the time of writing this blog the 'Pitchfever' campaign has raised approx 70K with a target of 100K needed to make this all weather pitch happen.

The current pitch is a dust bowl in the summer and a mud pit in the winter with kids grazing their knees if they fall. Hopefully when we reach our target the new pitch will be put in place for Football and Hockey training.

CHECK OUT http://blog.neighbourly.com/2015/01/14/new-video/  for more information.

So, the bike has been dusted down and about 250 miles of training has been completed over the last couple of weeks.
